Once you have logged in you’ll notice that the Prowise Learn looks like a garden! The signposts show the games which are available to you. Click on them to start playing. Try to make all of the plants in your garden grow by playing the different games. When your performance improves, your plants will grow.
Two Gardens: Base and Bonus Games
You have two gardens, a Base garden (normal rocket) and a Bonus garden (rocket with + sign). You start off with the Base garden, but if you look after your Base garden carefully you can play different games in the Bonus garden.
Your first plant is the addition game. If your addition score is high enough, the plant for the subtraction game will open. If you score high enough again, you can then play the multiplication game. Each time you score high enough, you will gain an extra plant. But, be careful! If you don’t keep playing all of the games your plants begin to wither and the plants you have earned will disappear.
Try to win as many coins as possible. Solve the questions correctly and as fast as possible to gain more coins. If your answer is wrong, you will lose coins. If you really don’t know the answer, you can click the ‘?’, and you won’t lose any coins. You will find the coins you’ve won so far in the bag in the lower corner of the screen.
You can quit at any time after giving an answer by clicking the red ‘X’. If you complete a full game session at once you get a BONUS of 25 coins! You can choose the answer you think is correct by clicking on it or typing the answer with your keyboard. When you hit Enter, your answer will be submitted.
The Trophy Cabinet
With the coins you’ve earned, you can buy (+) all kinds of trophies in the trophy cabinet. If, for example, you want to buy a cup; you will need to have earned enough coins first. If you switch to selling (-) you can select which prize you want to trade back for coins. This way you can try and buy even larger and more expensive prizes.
In your Prowise Learn you can choose whether you want easy, medium, or difficult questions. You can change these settings in the lower-right corner by selecting a smiley with fewer/more sweat drops on its forehead. If you choose to play at a higher difficulty level you will earn more coins for a correct answer, but also lose more coins for an incorrect answer!
Do you want to see how you are doing on the different games? There are multiple ways to see how you score! First, the larger your plant; the better you are doing. Second, the score on the signposts will increase as you become better at the game. Third, in the Growth Chart
Your score in each game is shown with stars. You can earn a maximum of 10 stars, which means that you have solved all the exercises in the game. A score of 5 stars means that you have solved half of the scores correctly.
Under the stars there is also your score. This score can be between 1 and 1000. De scores 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700 are equal to the average level when reaching the end of Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.
Games with a score above 950, will show crowns. If you see crowns, this means that you have played this game really well already! You can still play these games, because there are still enough difficult exercises, but maybe you can also have a look at the game where you have a lower score.
Worst and best exercises
When you click on the + sign behind a game you will find more information about how you played the game. You will see your 5 best exercises, that you have solved correctly and fast. There are also 10 worst exercises, which you found more difficult. Have a good look at these exercises! Maybe you’ll see what you did wrong. Otherwise you can ask someone for help.
